Solo Art Miami will host a juried indoor art festival the third weekend in Novemember 2010 at Miami Airport Convention Center (Miami Merchandise Mart). There was a call to artist thru September 2010. If you are a local artist you can look into it and see if it is a venue of interest for future submission of your work. If you are not local, check back for feedback from the media or site. I'm going to check it out this year and look into it for the future.
SOLO Art Miami, presented by Medica HealthCare Plans, is being organized by SOLO Art Group, LLC. Gilda Sacasas, the group’s executive director, was one of the founders of Carnaval on the Mile, a three-day event with 100 participating artists and an attendance estimated at 200,000.
This is an annual art fair intended to help promote and develop the endeavors of individual artists. It is open to i
ndividual artists and galleries in the following mediums: clay, watercolor, sculpture, painting, photography, jewelry and metalwork, fiber, mixed media, print making and drawing, glass and wood.

Solo Art Miami is being produced for artists by artist Gilda Sacasas, who herself has exhibited original work at major art shows across the country. She is sensitive to the needs of the artist and will do everything to enhance the show’s success for each and every participating artist.
The fair is strategically located in the center of Miami, at the newly renovated Miami Airport Convention Center, next to expressway 836 and across from the Miami International Airport.
Solo Art Miami will provide professional walls and lighting to each participating artist to best display their talents and accent their pieces. The goal is to present a sophisticated setting which appeals to the area’s leading art aficionados and collectors. Solo Art Miami will actively promote the work of each participating artist.
Solo Art Miami will be held in the height of South Florida’s tourism season. This art fair will be promoted with the assistance and cooperation of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau.
